About
I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, the youngest of two boys. My father came from a small town in Pennsylvania with limited opportunity before working to become one of the most respected attorneys in NC. His wasn't a story of luck, but a story of showing up every single day and refusing to quit. That story was never lost on me. My mother, who left a career in banking to raise my brother and me, taught me something equally important: the most meaningful work isn't always the most glamorous, and the people you invest your time in are your greatest return.
I live in Boston with my wife Callie, whom I met at a Cape Cod bar and married last year in Edinburgh, Scotland (donning a kilt and all). She is my biggest supporter, and I couldn't have embarked on this journey of entrepreneurship without her encouragement.
As a North Carolinian I have an unapologetic devotion to southern cooking. I am a lover of BBQ and I'm constantly on the search for the best pulled pork sandwich. I'm an outdoorsman (Eagle Scout), a tennis player, and a mediocre skier — although after moving to New England, I am working on that last one.
I hold a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. My professional background in finance and brand management gives me a strong handle on both the numbers and the people side of running a business.
Above all, I value family and community. I am committed to supporting your team, serving your customers, and guiding your business into the next chapter of growth.
